not- to embrace
the alluring pulse of
the present-

I long, not
to be dwelling in
a sphere of charmed
perfection- veiled with sweet
venom that plagues the
heart of the lifeless.

Don’t offer me
a world that merely exists
within the realms of indifference
void with the lasting scent of a
paradise- I desire.

You’ve known that
I seek for paradise-

That exists within
innocent dreams- where
hopeful sparks remains pulsating
amidst brokenness- even with
the oppressive gaze of
the present.

hi Jc, ;-) haven't been here for a while- sorry, this is a late acknowledgment already.

so so I girl, ;-)- it happens more often than not, lol! especially when "externalities" doesn't seem to coincide with what is, perhaps "expected"- well, its only a matter of adjustment sometimes... or, maybe a little more effort...- :-)
