Borrowed lights to illuminate collages- exposed in arrays of sights that taunts the unassuming ways of idle tides. Sudden flares abruptly shines- fueled, not by contrite heart, but cast by empty lamps. Believe that sometimes- the strong winds become the captain to stir your shadow, and your soul’s anchor would not be your own. ![]() ©2009leofinajanegalleta All Rights Reserved Last edited by drippingmind : 16-05-09 at 15:13. |

I'd have to reread the first two strophes to try to understand them better. My interpretation of the third one is that sometimes we do not have control of our own "fate" and would have to rely on others. I don't know if I'm right or wrong, but I kinda like that.
A though provoking piece. |

Exactly. There must always been an element of relativity in everything- it's just a matter of degree that makes the difference. /maybe that's why sometimes we need to have faith, to cling unto hope, to have courage- because there are moments wherein our own self is not enough- not maybe entirely, but it must something to we need to keep on- thanks again, Jane ![]() |

/as usual- i love to put in some "stuff" to light up the lines in my verses- literally for this one-lol! Kidding aside- I love the imagery of light due to its complexity- it provides much for representations- being a relative part of a whole- is just one way to look into it. As to the last part, yes indeed- exactly what I was thinking... it's not being dependent or needy- its a part of our existence- not to emphasize weakness or incompleteness but to stress on the essence of co-existence, or sharing, of living for something more than ourselves- and allowing others to do the same. Thanks again, :-) = Jane ![]() |
